Society Expeditions, a premier provider of expedition cruises and tour programs is based in Seattle, Washington. Founded in 1974, Society Expeditions has been providing bold, enriching, and adventurous voyages to passengers for almost 30 years. Itineraries call on the world’s most remote, pristine regions and feature a handpicked expedition staff of renowned scientists, lecturers, naturalists, and expedition leaders. The World Discoverer accommodates up to a 160 passengers in an atmosphere of casual elegance and premium service. The World Discoverer sails year round on voyages highlighting unique cultures, wildlife, ecology, and conservation. Destinations include Antarctica, the South Pacific, Papua New Guinea, Marianas Islands, New Caledonia remote coastal Alaska and the Aleutians, and the Russian Far East.
