MAIB Publishes Investigation Report On

Star Princess Fire

 

Star Princess following Fire on March 23 2006

 

On March 23, 2006, fire was detected onboard Star Princess. The ship was en route from Grand Cayman to Montego Bay, Jamaica, with 2690 Passengers and 1123 Crew members, The fire was investigated by the Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) on behalf of the Bermuda Maritime Administration, in co-operation with the US Coast Guard and the US National Transportation Safety Board.
