Customs Regulations

Each country has its own Customs Regulations and they vary from country to country and most countries will allow their citizens to return home with a set duty-free allowance.

Before leaving on you cruise check with you national customs authorities as to your duty-free allowances and limits. If you are unsure ask at the purser’s office, as they will also be able to provide you with information on your allowable duty-free allowances.

If you purchase or are thinking of taking plants, seeds, bulbs, cuttings, fruit, vegetables, flowers home with you following your cruise, please ask the cruise line for details on what you are allowed to import at your port of disembarkation. There are many restrictions on the importing of such items into many countries and items maybe subject to seizure or confiscation by customs and agriculture authorities at any port.

Please remember that Customs Regulations are constantly changing and evolving. What allowances where available last year, may not be available this year.
