Chosen Voyage By INTRAV

Announces Schedule In New Catalog

Chosen Voyage by INTRAV (the world’s only deluxe-tour operator to focus on a full complement of all-kosher trips) distributed its 2006 catalog filled with unique and interesting adventures. The 32-page catalog includes each of the journeys planned aboard river, small-, and medium-sized cruise vessels in Europe and North America, as well as details on INTRAV’s Inventing Southern Africa program that arranges personalized vacations in the region.

"We’re extremely excited to offer this comprehensive collection of trips dedicated to kosher-observant travelers and their families," Vice President of Chosen Voyage by INTRAV Matthew Shollar said. "This new Chosen Voyage by INTRAV catalog presents interesting options for virtually every type of traveler. Itineraries are planned as far away as New Zealand, Europe, or Africa; and close-to-home in New York’s Hudson Valley, Northern California’s wine country, and the Caribbean. And, because the intimate vessels are exclusively chartered for these trips, we’re not sacrificing top-notch destinations, luxurious amenities, or the overall experience to meet kosher standards."

All Chosen Voyage by INTRAV cruises will be offered on a full-ship kosher basis. Meals are served with Glatt Kosher meats, Chalav Yisrael dairy products, and Pas Yisrael baking offered exclusively. Under the internationally recognized supervision of OK Kosher Certification of New York, menus are planned to correspond with the requirements of Kashrut, and itineraries are customized to offer Shabbat in PortSM — with no competing programming on board and unique tours planned to maintain the highest halachic standards. Special Jewish historical touring, Scholars-in-Residence, regional experts, and an experienced onboard hospitality staff will provide the best possible travel experience.

High standards are also met through the cruise vessels and land accommodations on each of the programs. The first two programs in the catalog (Passover Splendor in Holland & Belgium and Jewish History Along the Blue Danube) will operate aboard the brand-new, 128-passenger Sound of Music, which marks its inaugural voyage with the Holland/Belgium journey. The ultra-deluxe, five-star vessel presents spacious cabins that feature large windows, flat-screen televisions, and private bathroom facilities; a 1,200-square-foot spa with fitness, salon, and massage facilities; and an open Sun Deck. In Russia, we’ll feature the 120-passenger Kazan that is considered the finest ship cruising the forest-lined waterways, with a private marble bath and separate shower in each stateroom, in-room satellite television, spacious accommodations, and lower twin beds that may be converted into queens. A weeklong cruise to the Western Caribbean aboard the 650-passenger Explorer combines activities and amenities offered aboard a larger vessel with the intimate atmosphere common to much smaller vessels. Other cruises will feature the Clipper Cruise Line fleet — the 128-passenger Clipper Odyssey, 102-passenger Nantucket Clipper, and 138-passenger Yorktown Clipper — which rate among the world’s best small-ships and feature comfortable accommodations, outstanding meals, and personalized service. Land accommodations are selected to be the most appropriate for guests’ particular needs, chosen for their location, amenities, and service.

The Chosen Voyage By INTRAV Schedule Includes Options in Europe, New Zealand, Africa, and North America.
