Cabin & Suites
Depending on the type of cabin or suite you have purchased for your cruise, you will be usually greeted and introduced to your stewardess/steward upon arrival. They will give you a tour of all the features and amenities of your accommodation. As a rule your stewardess/steward will ask you if would like a morning call and at what time along with your preference to tea or coffee. Through out your cruise the stewardess or steward that is assigned to your cabin or suite, will keep it spick and span, turndown service, replenishing towels and line, collecting and delivering laundry, cleaning shoes, and bring you breakfast in bed, if you desire. The level cabin and suite service varies from one cruise line to cruise line. A good example, you purchase a five star cruise, then the magic happens, your cabin stewardess/steward knows when you’ve been in and they are constantly cleaning and refreshing your accommodation just behind you. If you purchase a two star ship, your accommodation may only be serviced once a day. If there is anything you need, an extra blanket or pillow, more towels, some ice, and glasses, etc, your stewardess or steward and they will be happy to provide you with what you have requested. Unless you catch your steward or stewardess in the middle of servicing your cabin, the best way to contact him or her is to call housekeeping or the reception desk (depending on the cruise line) who, will then relay your request(s) to the appropriate person. |
